Be Ready
“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming, and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. NKJV Matthew 24:45-51
“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” NKJV Matthew 25:41-46
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ NKJV Matthew 7:21-23
If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give up your life for me, you will find it. NLT Matthew 10:39

Be Ready for What?
The day of the Lord, the day of judgement, the day you die.
Why Should I Be Ready?
Not everyone that says to Jesus Christ, "Lord, Lord" will enter into the kingdom. Only those that do the will of the Father will enter.
How Can I Be Ready?
Turn your heart, life, and dreams over to God. Love God first, then love others as you love yourself. First humble yourself before God, allow your heart to be cleansed. This is what it means to be a living sacrifice.
Discovering God's Will for Your Life
Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. NASB Romans 12:1-2
He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the LORD require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God? NKJV Micah 6:8
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. NKJV Romans 8:1-2
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. NIV Jeremiah 29:11
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? NKJV Romans 8:26-31
Delight yourself also in the LORD,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart. NKJV Psalm 37:4

God wants you to be conformed to the image of His Son. You are to be like Jesus. That is what God desires of your life. He loves you and wants close relationship with you. He wants you to love others the way He loves you.
Mature Christian
Mature christians are those that their faith is clearly seen by the way they live. It is not by the number of gifts they have displayed. It is displayed by their humility and love at all times. It shows in their devotion to follow Christ through tough times. It is not in their impressive knowledge of biblical topics. It is shown by their fruit.
